Pumpkin Dump It Cake-Vanessa

1 - 29 ounce can Pure Pumpkin
1 - 12 ounce can Evaporated Milk (I used Fat Free)
3 - Eggs (I used egg beaters)
1 - Cup Sugar
1 - Teaspoon Salt
3 - Teaspoons Cinnamon
1 - Box Yellow Cake Mix
1 - Cup Chopped Pecans
3/4 Cup Melted Margarine or Butter (I used butter)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first six ingredients until will blended. Pour batter into a 9 x 13 greased pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top. Cover with Pecans.
Pour melted margarine or butter over top. Bake 50-60 minutes.

Top with Whipped Cream or Cool Whip. Tastes great warm and served with ice cream too! Also very good refrigerated overnight and served cold with Cool Whip or Ice Cream!

Yum! This sounds like a much lighter version than the 2 sticks of butter one Curtis always made. I'm excited to try it out. Thanks so much for posting a recipe!

I brought this to thanksgiving with my family and it was a hit! No one even touched the pumpkin pie. It made a ton though, so there is still no way I am making this for just me and Jonathan. :)
